Jon Bon Jovi Praised for Helping Save Woman on Nashville Pedestrian Bridge. The rock singer successfully persuading her not to take her own life.

 


Legendary rocker Jon Bon Jovi found himself in the right place at the right time in Nashville on Tuesday evening. Reports indicate that Bon Jovi was on the city's Pedestrian Bridge around 6 p.m. for a photo shoot when he encountered a woman who appeared to be preparing to jump.


The singer reportedly engaged the woman in conversation and successfully persuaded her not to take her own life. Both the Nashville Fire Department and Metro Nashville Police Department responded to the scene, though no further details were released by the agencies.


Jon Bon Jovi, frontman of the iconic band Bon Jovi, has been a major figure in rock music since 1984, with 15 albums under his belt and two solo records. Known for hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “Always,” “Blaze of Glory,” and “It’s My Life,” Bon Jovi was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
